Sheryl Lee Ralph is a legend. I would literally go to RuPaul’s DragCon if she were the only person appearing there (she’s not, but I swear I would go just for her). She originated the role of Deena Jones in the Broadway production of Dreamgirls, which Beyonce reprised on screen many years later. She played Lauryn Hill‘s mother in Sister Act 2. She was on Designing Women and Moesha. She recorded In The Evening which is pretty much my favorite song ever:
If that doesn’t scream lip-sync for your life, I don’t know what does. Of course she was a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race too! She’s FAAAAAAABULOUS!
