This seems to be a new genre of short films: sad robots having existential crisises. We’ve featured shorts about a rapidly declining robot wandering the desert and a lonely robot in a post-apocalyptic Paris looking for friends. Now here’s a sad tale of a lonely, obsolete robot trying to find its place among humans who are indifferent to its existence. And hoooooboy, it’s really sad.
