I know. This might not be news to you. I’m late to the party in discovering Kath & Kim, the hilarious Australian sitcom. The antithesis of AbFab, K & K celebrates the feuding mother and daughter stereotype with an Aussie bent. It was translated for American TV audiences briefly in 2008 with Molly Shannon and Selma Blair, which was short-lived, but serviceably funny. But the Aussie original is totally addictive. I’ve binged my way through the first three seasons already, and I’ll power through the fourth and final 8 episodes in no time. (There are two movies, as well, the last shot in 2012.) You can watch them all, slow or fast, on Netflix and most of the full episodes are on YouTube too. Here’s a teaser (fake tanning the wrong arm) and the first episode, cued up for Season 1. The opening credits alone, a parody of The Young and the Restless, are hilarious.
