We all know bacon isn’t the healthiest option. Being a Pescetarian (I eat fish) but with Fukashima in the back of my mind, this doesn’t seem that great of an option either. Anyway, I have mixed feelings about posting this idea, but it HAS to be considered marketing genius. This new iPhone app and device wafts the smell of bacon and wakes you up with the sound of sizzling bacon, while a connected scent device emits a bacon perfume. The ‘wake up and smell the bacon’ app has been developed by Oscar Mayer and while the is readily available and free to download, the smell emitting device is not for sale and only a limited number are available to win. You have until April 4 to take a quiz on Oscar Mayer’s website to win a devices, which comes with a refill of “bacon perfume”.
