I’m not going to pretend to you that I really understand Heartbleed, the latest internet scare, and explain to you what to do about it but Mashable says this;
“Heartbleed is bad. It’s not hyperbole; it’s a major problem…. it has the potential to be one of the biggest, most widespread vulnerabilities in the history of the modern web. Frustratingly, however, because the problem is technical — very technical — it’s difficult for regular users to understand why this vulnerability is a big deal, what services have been vulnerable in the past and what services remain vulnerable now.”
So, take heed and go to Mashable to read the article and what you might want to do. Ugh. As the old saying goes, “Better safe, than sorry.” (via Mashable)
