It seems crusty, mega-billionaire Rupert Murdoch is in a “romantic relationship” with Mick Jagger’s ex, Jerry Hall. The conservative media mogul is said to have been introduced to the 59-year-old former model in Australia by relatives. A close family friend of the Murdochs said:
“It’s all very new. They are really enjoying each other’s company very much.
He is very fond of her. There is no question that they are a couple.”
Rumors of Murdoch and Hall’s liaisons have been going around but now it seems the pair might appear together for the first time in public at the Rugby World Cup. It follows time spent together in California and a recent outing to see the hit Broadway musical Hamilton in New York. Mr Murdoch has been married three times and has six children was divorced from Wendi Deng, 46, in 2013.
Hall was a model in Paris in the 70s and began dating Rolling Stones singer Mr Jagger in 1977. The couple, who’s 1990 ‘marriage’ in Bali was later annulled, officially split in 1999. They have four kids together, including model Georgia May. One wonders what advice she gives her daughter about men. Jerry’s Mom was very pragmatic, but the daughter even moreso;
“My mother said it was simple to keep a man: you must be a maid in the living room; a cook in the kitchen; and a whore in the bedroom. I said I’d hire the other two and take care of the bedroom bit.”
One shudders to think of Hall & Murdoch in the later scenario. But you’d think that Georgia would encourage such a union. As if having Mick Jagger as your Dad wasn’t enough, but Mr. Burns as your step-dad would further secure your future –one imagines.
