Director JB Ghuman Jr. has always been a frenetic free spirit, especially when it comes to some of his more off-piste projects like award-winning quirky film Spork, Double Duchess video Good Girl Freak Out, featuring Kelly Osbourne, and Cazwell’s Sprung– a cheeky homage to 80s/90s rap group Kid ‘n Play. His latest collaboration Tearing Down The Walls, with electro music pioneer Luciana, continues Ghuman’s quest to enlighten us through self-exploration- seeing our own truth, even in our darkest moments. Check out the awesome vid below…It’s like an acid freakout with an Ambien chaser.
“The video is what I’d call an activation visual,” Ghuman says. “I was inspired by the process of alchemy and wanted to apply it to human emotions lined up with the elements. It’s important to see your truth, even the dark parts,” he reflects. “Then rise, climb back up and realize you’re doing just as you should. You’re willing to not only survive reality, but face it and dance with it; even if you must tear it down and recreate it.”
Tearing Down The Walls will be available October 2 on iTunes.
