Watch WOWlebrity Steven Sims‘ short film Nakama, which means “best friend,” that he made for the Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Project last month. Steven & his production company Phalco produced the film, that was nominated for eight awards and won two of them! That’s excellent considering this was their first time entering the film festival, which gives each entering team a random genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue and then gives the team 48 hours to make a 4-7 minute short film. The films plot is loosely based on Hitchbot, the traveling robot that made it to America from Europe only to be destroyed and left on the side of the road in Pittsburgh, PA which also happens to be Sims hometown. Check out the film below and like the Nakama Facebook page. ConDRAGulations, Sims!
