What’s a bigger story, Bruce Jenner or a new royal baby about to drop? I’d say Jenner has the edge right now –at least in THIS country. The media (and the paps, especially) are losing their minds over a story they know is out there but just can’t quite get to yet. The Daily News ran a cover with pics of Bruce Jenner in what appears to be a striped maxi dress having a cigarette on HIS OWN PROPERTY. It’s not that the paps haven’t stalked him (and every Kardashian or Jenner) for the last decade… but this might be a bridge TOO far, as Jenner is now apparently suing the agency for invading his privacy. And asking celebs for their reaction to the story that no one knows the details of yet, seems to be OK, as well. Transgender actress Laverne Cox was queried on the red carpet for the Time 100 party in New York the other night to which she replied;
“I’m going to wait and see what Bruce has to say and then I’ll decide if there’s anything worth commenting on…”
A sensible response, right? Access Hollywood asked David Arquette what the Kardashians might be going through, being that he has a transgender sibling, Alexis Arquette. His response had him fumbling for the right words, saying Jenner…
“seems like a really sweet guy, uh girl…”
Billy Bush said later that after 9 years, this confusion is still happening with David’s own sibling, so we ALL need to have a little bit more patience. Can I get an amen? We’ll all know all the details soon enough. The 2-hour Diane Sawyer interview that the whole WORLD will be watching airs tomorrow night on ABC.
