Yesterday, ABC News announced that Bruce Jenner: The Interview, a 2-hour special with Diane Sawyer, will air Friday, April 24. According to a press release, this exclusive sit-down will be “far-ranging,” meaning he’s going to talk about his transition, we assume.
In a recent episode of season 9 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Bruce admitted to feeling “pretty lonely,” telling daughter Kourtney:
“Sometimes I feel so separated you know? The Kardashians over here, the Jenners over here, little me in the middle. We’ve got to keep the family going.”
In February of this year, Bruce was reminded of family, when he was involved in a fatal car crash on Malibu’s Pacific Coast Highway. One woman was killed and five others injured, after the SUV Jenner was driving rear-ended the Lexus in front of him, causing the Lexus to hit the Prius in front of it and spin into oncoming traffic. Jenner told E! News:
“My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”
Wonder if Diane will ask him about that accident? We’ll find out when Bruce Jenner: The Interview airs ABC at 9PM on Friday, April 24. (Photo, Pacific Coast News; via E! News)
