As reported WIDELY, Bette Midler dissed Ariana Grande the other day saying;
“You don’t have to make a whore out of yourself to get ahead”
But then she apologized via Twitter pretty quickly;
“About my screed on @ArianaGrande, all I can say is, ‘Spoken like a reformed old whore!’ She does have a beautiful voice, on a couch or off.”
This happened after a note from Grande, where she said that Midler had always been a feminist…
“who stood for women being able to do whatever the F they wanted without judgment!”
Points, Ariana. As a visual commentary on Midler’s “windbag” comments, she posted the above pic on Thanksgiving of her giant self floating past a self promotion for her first studio album in 8 years which spans 7 decades of classic girl group singles. The whole thing is a bit too cute and corny but even inflated as a ballon she looks (and sounds) pretty damn good for 68, huh?
