At the latest gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, master of ceremonies Justin Sayre takes on gay marriage… and the latest trend of gay virgins waiting until marriage for sex. “Gay virgins are not hot,” he says. “That’s not a hot thing.” He goes on to note, “You would not hire a plumber that just learned pipes. Sayre’s “International Order of Sodomites” (I.O.S.) gathers once a month for “The Meeting,” honoring an artist or a cultural work that is iconic to the gay community. Previous editions have been dedicated to Cher, Karen Carpenter and Stephen King’s “Carrie.”
He’ll perform Nov. 8 at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles and then on Nov. 16 at Joe’s Pub in New York.
