Genre-bending alt-rapper Theophilus London has a song on his new album Vibes about dickmatizing lesbians with his super-incredible life-changing penis, and I’m just going to go out on a limb and say the lesbian community is not going to pleased when they hear it.
Sample lyrics from “Do Girls”:
“She told me that she only do girls
But since she met a player like me
Man I feel like I’m on top of the world
Never heard him, I convert ‘em, put my lovin’ in ‘em
She told me that she only do girls
But since she met a player like me
Baby I can take you from your girl“
Reviewers have been having mixed reactions, with the Daily Collegian calling it “problematic” and saying it’s “not only disrespectful to members of the gay community, but it feels incredibly creepy” and ONTD succinctly saying: “In a world where gay women are sexually assaulted under the pretense that they can be ‘fixed,’ ‘Do Girls’ has a chauvinistic message that a guy can get a lesbian to leave her lover once she gets a shot with his magic dick. [I'm] disappointed in this crap and grossed out by reviewers that play off since it was arranged by Kanye.”
Ah, Kanye. Of course.
