Who? Blu. Blu Cantrell. You remember: “Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)” It was THEEEEE SONG of 2001, of course. “Hey ladies, when your man wanna go buckwild, go back and hit ‘em up style” Good stuff. Well, poor thing went a little buckwild herself. She was found rampaging through a Santa Monica neighborhood around 2AM yesterday morning, screaming that someone had given her “poisonous gas.” She was quickly taken into custody for psychological evaluation by officers, then to a near-by hospital where she was evaluated by medical staff.

We’re told when officers arrived, Blu played the “do you know who I am card” … but also referred to herself as a “one hit wonder.”Law enforcement sources tell us cops took Blu to a nearby hospital where doctors checked her out.
Here’s to a speedy recovery. And to the upcoming round of press she’s going to get. And the comeback album in 2015 (suggested title: “I’m Feeling a Little Gassy “).
