I’m sorry. I’m a bit of an idiot. I still can’t quite wrap my head around the 3D revolution. How exactly do we get ears and bananas and houses to come out of a printer? My dot matrix still rejects actual PAPER, so it’s all just beyond me.

Just because I don’t understand it, though, doesn’t mean I’m not positively gasping over designer Noa Raviv fabulous new 3D printed collection “Hard Copy.” Check out some of the designs after the jump.

From WeThe Urban:

Recently, designer Noa Raviv took things to an entirely new level by using the innovative process to create a fashion collection. Raviv developed her series, Hard Copy, as part of her student work at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. The artist drew upon computerized patterns of grids and lines as the inspiration for the modern styles.

The 3D portions of the designs were created using Stratasys’ Objet Connex500 Multi-Material 3D printing technology.

Don’t know what that mean, but enjoy. (via NoaRaviv)
